Dear Friend,
Jacqueline Teigeler, seven-year-old daughter of Julie and Charley Teigeler, was diagnosed with brain stem glioma on August 31. Essentially, “Jac” has a malignant brain tumor that has, and is continuing to spread around her brain. The attending physician in Savannah has advised Julie and Charley that the tumor is inoperable and that Jac’s life will likely end in the very near future.
We can’t imagine the desperation that Julie and Charley are experiencing. They are doing everything in their power to find a way to save their daughter’s life. They plan to take Jac to the best pediatric oncologists in the country. Unfortunately, this form of cancer is extremely fast-growing and time is of the essence. They need to start their medical journey now.
You may ask yourself, “How can I help?” In addition to prayers and emotional support, the Teigelers will need money in the form of donations so they can attend critical medical appointments, which more than likely will be out-of-state and arranged very hastily.
Julie and Charley will be incurring expenses for last-minute airline tickets, rental cars, hotel rooms, meals and incidentals on their medical trips as well as significant medical expenses not covered by insurance. These expenses will add up quickly.
Please find it in your heart to give and give generously. You can write your check out to The Jacqueline Teigeler Medical Fund. Mail your envelope to Denslay Hoffman, a long-time friend of Charley’s, who will deposit the checks directly into the account. The address is:
The Jacqueline Teigeler Medical Fund c/o Denslay Hoffman
P.O. Box 7674
Garden City, GA 31418
If you prefer, you can personally deposit your check directly with Bank of America. Please send an email to donations@jacquelineteigeler.com for details on how to do so.
You may also contribute via Paypal.
Your gift will be used to pay for any and, hopefully all, expenses incurred
during Julie and Charley’s search for the best medical treatment that,
hopefully, will save Jac’s life.
Together we can give her a fighting chance. Thank you for your love, compassion
and support.
May God bless you and yours,
Friends of the Teigeler Family
P.S. If you’d like to send well wishes to Jacqueline and her parents,
please go send an email to mail@jacquelineteigeler.com.
