Jacqueline passed away in her home on November 6, 2007. She passed peacefully, taking comfort in the care and love of her family.

Her love of life will be greatly missed by a world who was only beginning to know her. May God keep and bless her.

A memorial service for Jacqueline is scheduled to be held on Saturday November 10th at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Wilmington Island at 12:00 noon

At 2pm a reception will be held at the Reece residence at 1840 Wilmington Island Road. A balloon release will follow at 3pm. There will be plenty of food, however if you wish, you may bring some simple Hors d'oeuvres to the reception.

If you are unable to attend, the family asks that you participate in the balloon release from your location at 3pm with a note attached listing Jac, Shelby, and any loved one's name whom you would like to send a special sentiment.

Anyone bringing food for the Teigeler family between now and the service on Saturday should bring it to the Teigeler's house at the address below.

In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to do so can make a donation to the Jacqueline Teigeler Medical Trust Fund administered by Denslay Hoffman. Proceeds will be used to help educate the world about this specific type of cancer, giving parents a place to go where they can get information on treatment options early in their fight for their child's life.
